Job description
OH Medical is recruiting for an experienced Physiotherapist to join the onsite team of a leading Occupational Health Provider in a Part time Permanent position. This role will see you working 13 hours per week on site in Portsmouth as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The Remit:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join an established onsite team and help deliver a first-class Occupational Health Service. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
Provide clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatments whilst maintaining comprehensive assessment and treatment records.
Classifying musculoskeletal disorders into work-related categories
Provide reports to Management following assessment and discharge indicating employee’s fitness to work and advising on short, long-term, and permanent adjustment requirements.
Deliver onsite exercise classes for employee MSK injury rehabilitation
Collecting statistics to report on and contribute to health promotion events
Communicate with the wider OH team providing them with information regarding any work practice or environment changes required on both short and long-term basis
Conduct DSE assessments, and provide any necessary advice on any changes/equipment that is required
Identify hazards within the workplace and assessment of the risk of the identified hazards causing or aggravating an individual’s MSK ill health
Working with HSE Advisors to conduct ergonomic risk assessments to identify risks to the employees within a specified area
Provide effective rehabilitation of staff with MSK disorders, including those not work-related
Conduct and Contribute to Health Promotion events
Skills Required
HCPC Registered Physio
CSP Registered Physio
Experience in OH setting preferred
MSK and Ergonomic experience and knowledge
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritise and organise workload to meet service demands
Strong IT Literacy
