The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our Engineering team to support and ensure that we achieve the highest level of quality across our business. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and implementing our quality management systems, processes, and procedures whilst supporting asset operations and our projects to develop/construct new renewable energy sites. The successful candidate will work closely with the Quality Assurance and Improvement Lead and other cross-functional teams, including project management, procurement, and asset management, to provide quality engineering support, drive continuous improvement, implement new procedures, investigate quality incidents, identify corrective actions and support the implementation of effective solutions. Your expertise in quality principles, auditing, statistical analysis, and problem-solving techniques will be instrumental in promoting a culture of quality excellence within the organisation.
Location: Hybrid working. Can be home based with visits to Durham, Edinburgh or London offices.

You will be responsible for a range of key accountabilities that revolve around maintaining and enhancing our quality standards, including:
Proficient in conducting both internal and external supplier audits, with demonstrated knowledge and experience.
What do you need to be great at this role?
You will hold a Diploma in Quality Leadership, CQI Certificate or Advanced degrees or certifications in Quality Engineering in addition to:
