The Role

Here at SecureCloud+ we are seeking an experienced network engineer to join our growing DevOps infrastructure team. As the Network Engineer you will work as part of a team responsible to provide secure complex network solutions including the installation, implementation, and management of both new and existing systems. This will include the build, configuration, and management of multi-vendor hardware including switches, routers, and firewalls.

As a successful Network Engineer you will have experience with network security technologies including firewalls, IPSEC, VPN, GRE and HAIPE. As well as have an in-depth knowledge of physical and virtual routing and switching including the implementation of high availability solutions as well as an understanding of common protocols i.e., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF and DNS.

Do you have:

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with an ability to articulate messages to a variety of different audiences.
• Cisco certifications preferred CCNA/CCNP or other comparable certifications.
• Extensive technical experience in a network engineering role.
• Proven experience with design, documentation, configuration, and implementation of complex network solutions.
• Ability to produce detailed High-level & low-level design documentation
• Understanding of incident, problem, and change management in line with the ITIL framework.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment with a willingness to work on other tasks as required to support the wider business and its needs.
• A willingness to work flexibly in response to changing organizational requests. Including working away at customer sites when required.
