At Buy It Direct we are investing in our future; we’re looking for a talented Affiliate Marketing Manager to join our Customer Acquisition team.
You’ll be responsible for all affiliate marketing activity and performance across various websites including tech, home, furniture, and outdoor categories. Working closely with the paid search, trading, buying and merchandising teams to identify new incremental revenue streams.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a highly commercial, dynamic, and challenging ecommerce environment, taking ownership for a high-value channel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse affiliate performance data to uncover insights that will drive continuous improvements in our affiliate marketing channel.
- Implement and champion the affiliate marketing strategy, collaborating closely with our ecommerce and digital marketing teams to ensure alignment and shared objectives.
- Identify and recruit new, high-potential publishers who share our goals and present opportunities for growth.
- Review commercial performance, identifying ways to reduce costs and introduce revenue-boosting initiatives that will enhance ROI.
- Analyse the individual performance of publishers, taking proactive measures to elevate their performance levels.
- Plan and co-ordinate promotional activities, working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including network and publisher partners.
- Regularly communicate with the network of agency, and affiliate stakeholders, identifying new avenues and implementing innovative programs and tactics.
- Take ownership of the onboarding process for new affiliates, ensuring a seamless and productive integration.
- Conduct internal training sessions for our digital marketing team, boosting their understanding of affiliate marketing.
- Produce reports to demonstrate the performance of our affiliate marketing channel.
Your Experience:
- Experienced in digital marketing and customer acquisition.
- Demonstratable experience in affiliate marketing either network or client side, ideally within retail /ecommerce.
- An excellent communicator, able to influence and collaborate with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, able to use data to drive decision-making.
- Must be commercially astute, able to recognise new incremental revenue opportunities.
- Experience with various affiliate marketing networks, such as Webgains, Affiliate Window, CJ, and Impact, is a plus.
