The Barley Mow is a roadside community pub situated in Birtley, just two miles from the market town of Chester-le-Street. The main source of trade is from the locals who enjoy the refreshing beer, the good quality food offer and pub games. The pub currently operates in a L-shaped lounge bar with darts and TV screens available for sports viewing and a separate dining room with 40 covers. Additionally, there is a well sized trade kitchen onsite capable of producing a good quality food menu. The Barley also boasts a well-kept enclosed beer garden, at the side of the pub which is ideal for families and or for a quiet drink in the summer.
