Taylorollinson are excited to be working on an exclusive basis with a pioneering organisation that develops novel diagnostics that help in the detection of infectious diseases worldwide. Working predominantly from their Head Office in Oxfordshire they are looking to recruit a Procurement Analyst to help the business plan, analyse and improve on efficiencies within their supply chain and drive business performance and profitability.

You’ll be working within the procurement team who procure goods and services for multiple manufacturing sites (UK and US). You will take responsibility for developing dashboard performance indicators and reporting channels to enable the team to analyse current situation and forecast future performance to enable smooth operations and continuous performance and improvement.

About You

Applications are welcomed from individuals with the following criteria:

-Knowledge of procurement within a complex supply chain 

-Preferably educated to BSc/BA in a business/supply chain discipline level or with CIPS status

-Excellent use of excel (or other data analysis packages) and ERP systems

-Working knowledge of the Pharma/biotech/med device or any other scientific or high-tech manufacturing environment 

-Experience in highly regulated environment and working within a QMS 

-Proactive individual who’s able to problem solve, interrogate data and enjoys making sense of complex data sets from multiple sources to support the streamlining for information to enable better decision making 

Your day to day responsibilities will include a range of tasks including but not limited to:

-Raising purchase orders 

-Ensuring on-time, in-full delivery across global manufacturing sites and critical information is communicated across internal departments and 3rd party partners

-Take a proactive approach to dealing with any delays and non-conformances and corrective action (internal and supplier); logging everything within a QMS

-Provide project support to department

-Manage activity through a ERP system and become a super user 

-Generate regular reports in-line with management & department needs across multiple metrics

-Work across multiple departments to resolve supply chain issues
