4-days a week Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri 08:30 - 17:30. (no weekends)
We are looking for a Prep-Chef to join our hardworking, amazing, driven team in the preparation of meals for our customers.
We operate a UK wide meal-prep service, which means that our environment is diverse and more relaxed and amiable than a restaurant, but still highly organized, which consistently evolves.
Your Chef responsibilities will be prepping food in accordance with our menu and then assisting with putting the meals together, ready for delivery. You should be able to delegate tasks to ensure meals are consistent and efficiently coordinated. Hygiene regulations should be knowledgeable, and you should also be aware of different cooking techniques and non-traditional ingredients. This is an ideal opportunity for a chef looking to improve their experience in what is a fast growing industry. In return we will provide an ideal platform to express your culinary skills and ideas.

Responsibilities
Set up the kitchen with utensils and equipment.
Study each recipe and help to source necessary ingredients.
Cook food in a timely manner.
Delegate tasks to kitchen staff
Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. remove dairy)
Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
Proven work experience as a Chef or Cook
Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment
Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks.
Excellent time management abilities.
We are not offering relocation assistance and will not be conducting a Virtual interview.
The hours on offer are for a 4-day week, between 08:00hrs till 17:30hrs on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday ( No weekends or Wednesday ) We are based in Buckshaw Village Chorley PR7 7NG.
This position is available to UK residents ONLY. We do not provide moving or accommodation assistance. We are looking for an immediate start within a month of an application being sent.
