About Us: People Recruit is a leading recruitment agency dedicated to matching skilled healthcare professionals with reputable employers. We are currently working with a large residential home in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to support their team.

Job Description: We are currently recruiting compassionate and dedicated HCAs to join our client's team at their residential home in Bexhill-on-Sea. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to residents.

Shift Types: Combination of day and night shifts, average shift duration of 12-12.5 hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, hygiene, and mobility assistance.
• Supporting residents with medication administration as per care plans and protocols.
• Providing emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Assisting with meal preparation and feeding if required.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of resident care and observations.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
• Promoting a safe and supportive environment for residents and adhering to health and safety protocols.

Job Requirements:

• Mandatory Training in care and support, such as the UK Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF Mandatory Training) or the Care Certificate.
• Dementia awareness training.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently.
• Drivers desirable due to rural location.
