Job description
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a highly reputable business in Felixstowe.
This role is part of the senior leadership team so offers fantastic exposures across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Managing the preparation of the annual statutory accounts
- Coaching and mentoring a small team
- Reviewing accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance to IFRS
- Handling the financial consolidation process including relevant reporting requirements
- Responsible for VAT, ensuring compliance to various legislations
- To be responsible for corporation tax aspects
Key skills:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with relevant Financial Accounting experience
- Managing key stakeholder relationships
- Excellent communication skills
- Lead through change effectively with clear goals and outcomes
- Managing a team in a mentoring capacity
