Zachary Daniels Recruitment are proud to be partnered with this ambitious multi-channel retailer, on the appointment of a Retail Buyer. Based in Central London 2 days a week, the position of Buyer will be responsible for the ranging across both stores and online for general merchandise/home/furniture categories.

Working within a small and passionate team, your day to day responsibilities in the position of Buyer will include the following:

• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and source new suppliers for future products
• Understand trends and metrics to range product in line with customers' expectations
• Manage and develop supplier relationships to ensure stock and cash management
• Regularly review performance indicators, such as sales, sell through, promotions and stock levels
• Meet suppliers, negotiate and agree terms of contracts
• Analyse consumer buying patterns and predict future trends
• Attend trade fairs to select and assemble new collection of products
• Identify supply chain issues and manage to ensure stock availability

To be considered for the position of Buyer, you will offer the following:

• A strong retail buying background is essential with multi category experience across GM/Home/Non-Food/Non-Clothing
• A commercial Buyer with strong negotiation skills
• DSV/Dropship buying is essential
• Ranging experience across stores and online
• Full cradle to grave sourcing knowledge
