Role: Trainer (Water industry)
Location: Maidstone
Salary: up to £45,000 p/a (Depending on experience)

Carrington West are working with a training company that delivers high quality training to it's diverse client base. Their main focus is currently in Health and Safety training and Clean Water industry operations technical training. They pride themselves in delivering high quality, engaging training either remotely in e classrooms, at they're purpose built, state of the art training facility.

You do not need prior experience as a Trainer, all we require is a good attitude, previous experience as a mentor, good communication and written skills.

TRAINING INSTRUCTOR

The purpose of this role is to support the Training Delivery Team deliver high quality training courses to delegates, enhancing their competency and skill and enabling them to perform effectively and efficiently within their workplaces.

The Training Instructor should be able to communicate to the delegates about what is expected from training in a simple, engaging, and professional way.
The Training Instructor is to assist in ensuring the needs of the delegate(s) are met, and any follow up requirements are met in a timely manner. The Training Instructor will support the Training Manager in the management, development, delivery and quality assurance of all learning and development in accordance with the awarding body standards, industry standards, and company policies and procedures.
The role will require the Training Instructor to both deliver and create content, including the creation of bespoke content and programmes for our clients. The main types of training will initially be Health and Safety and water industry technical based. This is reflected in the qualification requirements.
We are looking for someone to join a growing team, who is looking for a role which will offer something different every day. Someone who has experience in the water industry, with clean water operations and in health and safety delivery or management would be a good fit for this role. The training is delivered remotely, at their purpose-built training facility. This means there will be some days where travel will be expected and others where courses can be delivered from a remote classroom.

This position would be ideal for 'Network service technicians'

General Duties:

·To deliver courses as required to industry and awarding body standards.
·Assess the delegates (if required), mark and collate test papers for all courses.
·Monitor and review the progress of delegates by using questionnaires and through discussions.
·Work within a team to ensure programmes are standardised and meet the requirements of the delegaes, content providers and clients.
·Produce training materials for courses and programmes.
·Produce training materials for courses in close partnership with awarding bodies and client needs.
·Ensuring that statutory training requirements are met.
Keep up to date with developments in training practices.
Resolve problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups

·Valve Operations
· CALM Networks
· Flushing and Sampling
· Emergency First Aid at Work
· National Water hygiene
· Manual Handling
· SHEA Water
· Thames Water Passport
· Fire Marshall
· NRSWA Signing, Lighting and Guarding - Operative and Supervisor
· IOSH Working Safely
· IOSH Managing Safely

Experience in delivering any of these courses will be beneficial to the candidate.
