Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Aggregate Company based in the North West. Our client is recruiting a Heavy Plant Fitter to work across multiple sites across the North West. For the successful Plant Fitter, our client is offering;

1. £39,000- £52,800
2. Day shifts Monday to Friday 7 am-6 pm
3. Permanent Position 
4. Weekends are available but not compulsory 
5. Company Van Provided
6. Overtime paid at 1.5x

The Role of the Plant Fitter will include:

1. Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems 
2. Perform all aspects of maintenance repairs on current equipment and future additions
3. Overhauls, maintenance, and repairs to a required standard
4. Attend breakdowns & diagnose the fault as quickly & efficiently as possible; identifying faults and repairing or replacing faulty parts
5. Ensure regular servicing of all quarry equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's guide.
6. Assist with the changeover of crusher/screener wear parts e.g. metals, jaw turns/changes etc
7. Refurbishing of machines within the onsite workshop
8. To regularly inspect crushers, screeners, excavators, loading shovels & other quarry equipment as well as components including engines, gearboxes and hydraulics- preventative maintenance

What our client is looking for in a Plant Fitter;

1. Maintenance minimum  1 year (preferred)
2. Mechanic minimum 2 years ( preferred)
3. Experience with Trommels, Screeners, Crushers, Excavators, Loading Shovels. Static Plants
4. Must have own tools
5. Time Served with heavy plant machinery (Essential)
