TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER- JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is a leading force in the manufacturing industry, renowned for their cutting – edge solutions and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. They provide top quality services to a diverse clientele. They are seeking a dynamic and results – driven Technical Sales Engineer(due to retirement) to join their team and drive growth through technical expertise and customer engagement.
Although our client is based in Poole, Dorset – this position will involve some travel as well as some time in the office.
Full training will be provided.
RESPONSIBILTIES OF THE TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER:
- You will be the bridge between their innovative manufacturing solutions and their valued customers.
- Utilize technical knowledge to understand customer needs, provide expert guidance, and promote the products and services.
- To combine technical expertise with sales acumen to build lasting customer relationships and drive revenue and growth.
- Attend client meetings.
- Manage your own diary.
KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
- The ability to work professionally.
- An engineering background to HNC level and possess experience in the selling of both standard and bespoke equipment.
- Must be experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheets etc.
- Strong communication skills are essential to work professionally with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Positive attitude to new challenges would be expected together with self-motivation.
- A full driving licence is required.
- The ideal candidate must not only be hard working, diligent and able to work independently but also be a flexible team player.
- Attention to detail is a must.
