Applications invited for am Admin Assistant to provide secretarial and administration support to support the delivery of a variety of projects supporting the Nursing & Quality.The post holder will coordinate their activities to ensure an efficient and responsive service.

The post holder will have a range of administrative duties with the delivery of day-to-day activities including electronic diary management, arranging meetings, assisting with minute taking, raising orders and data collection / reporting. The post holder must be a good team player and also have the ability to work on their own initiative and be able to communicate with staff, service users and carers in a professional way, and be computer literate with proficient Microsoft Office skills.

The post-holder will work in line with the Trust’s objectives and be expected to make a positive contribution to the provision of Health and Wellbeing Services across the local health economy. All posts are subject to the nationally agreed Agenda for Change terms and conditions.

Main duties of the job

To provide administrative support to the Nursing & Quality Directorate in the delivery of a professional, comprehensive and efficient administrative/secretarial service that promotes excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.  The post holder will be expected to work independently using their own initiative with minimal direct supervision.

To contribute to the collection and monitoring of accurate and meaningful clinical information, producing regular reports and analysing data to proactively support the identification of issues and areas for improvement.
