Robert Half Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be partnering with an established, high-growth Top 40 Accountancy Practice near Wokingham.

Due to continued growth and new projects, my client is seeking 2-3 trainee Accountants on a permanent basis.

This will be your first finance role in the business with a clear pathway to progression. With study for professional Accountancy qualifications alongside a supportive environment this is a role which will enable huge personal growth as you develop your Finance career.

Working within the UK Headquarters this Trainee Accountant job is suitable for a Finance & Accounting or Mathematics graduate or a part-qualified candidate with 1-2 years experience within a practice environment, to join a great Team.

Duties:

• Collaborative working to deliver outsourced accountancy services
• Tracking income receipts, collateral and profiability
• Bookkeeping and management of Xero ledgers
• Trial balance reconciliations
• Delivering commercial reporting packs for clients
• Cashflow management
• Trial balance reconciliations
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Preparation of management/statutory accounts
• Deliver Net Asset Valuations
• Collating information for auditors

Candidate Profile:

• Accounting & Finance graduate or AAT qualified; or P/Q studying towards ACCA/ACA
• Passion to drive innovation and process improvements.
• Media focused with a tangible desire to pursue a career in this sector.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Organised and able to work under pressure.
• Computer literate with intermediate Microsoft Office including Excel.
• Problem solver
