Production Engineering Technician Tasks:
Technical Support: Dive into the heart of manufacturing, providing day-to-day technical support for line issues and implementing creative solutions for a variety of manufactured instruments.
Ownership and Accountability: Take charge of department actions and provide updates through to completion, demonstrating ownership and accountability at every step.
Process Optimization: Utilize Lean techniques to identify improvement projects within manufacturing areas, driving efficiency and excellence in our processes.
Data Analysis: Dive deep into data, collating and analyzing information to support updates to processes and procedures, ensuring we're always at the forefront of innovation.
Safety and Compliance: Promote and maintain a safe environment for building, testing, and faultfinding instruments, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
Continuous Learning: Stay ahead of the curve by gaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant technology, production engineering best practices, and health and safety requirements.
Compulsory Criteria (Must Have at Least One):
Degree or Equivalent: Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electronic, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Proven Experience: Demonstrate at least 1 year of experience as a technician in Electromechanical Manufacturing (preferably medical but not essential).
Qualifications/Skills:
Fault Finding: Showcase your proven fault-finding skills, essential for tackling complex manufacturing challenges.
Analytical Skills: Demonstrate strong analytical skills, including data gathering, manipulation, and conclusion drawing, to drive informed decision-making.
Technical Proficiency: Possess knowledge of manufacturing techniques, including lean manufacturing and just-in-time principles. Experience with 3D CAD systems, preferably Creo, is advantageous.
