SEN Teaching Assistant - Stockport

Are you a patient and reliable person with excellent communication skills?

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to work as a SEN Teaching Assistant at a client secondary school based in Stockport. The role would start after the Easter holiday, on Monday 15 th April and will be required until the end of the academic year (July), with possibility to extend and take on a school-based contract.

Our client school is looking for a candidate who can support SEN pupils with their daily routines. The ideal candidate should also have experience working with Autistic children or young adults, however this is not essential. It would be beneficial if applicants have a strong knowledge and understanding of how to adapt to different learning styles, and support students showing troublesome emotions in a calm but firm way. It is essential that applicants are patient and willing to work with students who have SEN requirements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
