Do you enjoy the challenge of collaborating with multiple departments within the sales order and contract process and being responsible for accurate and timely customer invoicing? Then this Billing Specialist position is for you!

We are looking for an experienced financial administrator to oversee contract and billing activities. As a Billing Specialist, you will work closely with colleagues from various departments to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and contract documentation. Reporting to the European Billing Team Leader you will work as part of a global finance team and be focussed on working with ECI’s European customer base particularly in the UK and Benelux regions.

Based from our UK Corporate Head Office in Lincoln, where we operate a hybrid working environment across the working week, you will be supporting small to medium-sized entrepreneurial businesses using our ERP solutions with their billing and contract queries and ensuring all billing transactions are accurate and timely.

Responsibilities include:

• Respond to billing inquiry emails in a timely professional, manner
• Keep records of customer interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
• Work closely with Cash & Collections Clerk to resolve billing issues
• Process Cancellation/Credit requests
• Processes and performs data entry of daily orders to generate invoices with high volumes during month-end close
• Responsible for updating customer’s billing information and maintaining data accuracy
• Update recurring billing maintenance changes
• Audit quotes and agreements for accuracy against company policy and work with Sales for problem resolution

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Analytical thinking and problem solving
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Knowledge of computer information systems to input financial data, including but not limited to excel and word computer programs.
• Secondary school level education or equivalent required.
• Ability to speak Dutch is an advantage
• The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate their right to work in the UK.

This role plays a vital part in month-end and year-end accounting processes as such additional evening and weekend working hours during these times may be required.
