Job description
Our client, a global media company, is seeking 9-months temporary cover for a Research Manager position to join the Consumer Insights division.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Leading primary research projects across European territories.
· Identifying appropriate methodologies based on business and research objectives.
· Supporting research initiatives in collaboration with the Consumer Insights leads.
· Working with internal Panel Operations team to overseeing programming and deployment of research projects.
· Working with vendors to ensure successful execution of research projects.
· Using syndicated, primary, and secondary data sources to support research projects.
· Accurately represent the customer in all analysis and meetings.
Requirements:
· Experience setting research objectives, writing surveys, and creating sampling and weighting schemes, and analysing results.
· Experience within a research group or media company, researching on the vendor side is preferred.
· Understanding of the television programming landscape is advantageous.
· Experience supporting or leading different types of viewer studies such as episode testing, dial testing, concept testing.
· Experience leading studies with various methodologies such as online quant surveys, focus groups, 1:1, ethnos, online qual, mobile etc. is preferred.
· Basic project management skills.
· Experience collaborating across internal teams.
· Experience with applied statistics, predictive analytics, and mixed methodology research.
· Experience presenting research regarding insights drawn from analysis.
· Proficient user of Microsoft Excel and Word.
· Experience working with panels, Tableau, and SPSS is desirable.
· Good written and verbal communication.
· Comfortable working with ambiguity and autonomy.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
