We have a fantastic opportunity to work with our client in Kidlington who is seeking a full time, Counterbalance Forklift Driver. They are looking for a strong and capable individual to help streamline their loading and unloading process.

• Job Title: Counterbalance Forklift Driver
• Location:  Kidlington, Oxfordshire
• Salary : £13.57 per hour PAYE adv
• Job Type: Contract role – potential for Full Time Permanent
• Hours: Monday to Friday 0700-1700 hours

Our client is based in Kidlington, Oxfordshire and is currently recruiting a Yard Person to operate their counterbalance forklift.

This is an interesting and varied role that combines hands-on logistics work, working Monday to Friday .  Whilst working for Driver Hire Oxford the hourly pay rate will be £13.57 PAYE Adv paid weekly.

Job Duties:

• Working in the yard, doing general counterbalance forklift and yard duties
• Actively serving both trade and retail customers
• Picking goods required by customers in the yard and helping load customer vehicles.
• Liaising with transport to pick stock for customer deliveries to site
• Making sure the yard is clean, tidy and a safe place for staff, customers and visiting members of the public
• Carrying out daily checks on forklift trucks, skid steer loaders, telehandlers and other loading equipment
• Counterbalance Forklift duties

Essential Requirements:

• Relevant Counterbalance Forklift and Yard experience
• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• A professional attitude is essential together with good written and verbal communication skills and a keen eye for detail
• The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a team and be able to follow set process closely after relevant onsite training
