Mobile Security Engineer
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey, UK
Hybrid Policy: 3 days a week onsite and 2 days working from home if preferred
I am working with a leading global electronics manufacturer specializing in consumer and business electronics, including memory chips, digital media players, appliances, semiconductors, and integrated systems.
The team seeks a Security Certification Specialist to ensure mobile, IoT, and network device security certifications for global government customers.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Computing, Communications, or related field (equivalent industrial experience considered)
- 3-6 years' experience in Security Accreditation and Assurance
- Expertise in developing accreditation strategies, security architecture, evaluation, and Threat and Risk assessment
- Familiarity with device security attack vectors (eg, Apps, Browser, connectivity, device management, networking, local storage)
Role and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with government agencies to meet global cybersecurity standards.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align product development with security requirements.
- Familiarize with security platforms across sectors to facilitate adoption.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in mobile device and network security certification, with contacts in certification bodies
- Knowledge of software design and development methodologies
- Proficiency in C & C++ programming language (min. 3 years' experience) for code understanding and test development.
