Place Officer (SO2)
Description
As a Place Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the community. You will work closely with local law enforcement agencies and community organizations to maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and visitors. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Patrol designated areas to ensure the safety and security of the community
Respond promptly and appropriately to calls for service, including emergencies and disturbances
Conduct investigations and gather evidence as needed
Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies to coordinate efforts and share information
Maintain a strong presence in the community and build relationships with residents and business owners
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards
Enforce local ordinances and regulations to maintain order and compliance
Requirements
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field
Prior experience in law enforcement or security preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay Per Hour: £15.76
