Role Overview: As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating the flow of products from production through to delivery. Your responsibilities will include liaising with suppliers, managing inventory levels, and optimizing logistics to meet customer demands. This is a Monday to Friday role based in Crewe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and plan production schedules.
- Optimize transportation routes and negotiate freight rates with carriers.
- Resolve any issues related to orders, shipments, or inventory discrepancies.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a food-related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
