Summary:
Camp 4 Champs is looking for high-energy, enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Champ Leaders. Champ Leaders are responsible for delivering our multi-sports activity programme, combining different sports and activities for 4 to 14 year olds. Activities include a variety of sports, arts and crafts, cookery, swimming, team building games and lots more! We have sites in Essex, Surrey and Hertfordshire.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-energy and inclusive multi-sports activity sessions to groups of up to 16 children
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
- Follow operating procedures and policies, including the recording of incidents and medical administration forms
- Uphold health and safety standards and procedures
- Ensure the safe use of equipment
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- A minimum level 1 qualification in sports coaching and or experience of working in early years, primary or secondary teaching, education or childcare
- A passion and enthusiasm for, and a minimum of 6 months experience of working with children aged 4 to 14 years old
- At least 3 months’ experience coaching a sport, leading games or delivering activities
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
Desirable:
- A full paediatric first aid qualification
- Ability and confidence to deliver our activity programme to children
- Ability to perform general cleaning and tidying duties, set up and dismantle activity areas and check equipment is in suitable condition to use
- A knowledge and understanding of our camps structure
- Ability to complete all relevant paperwork, including first aid accident book and the recording of incidents
- Ability to follow the activity timetable for each day and complete the Champ Leader Group Sheet

Additional Information:
This is a full-time position during the school holidays. We are looking for Champ Leaders who can fulfil this role Monday to Friday for a minimum of 3 consecutive weeks in the summer (our busiest season).
