Our client, Wrightbus, a leader in zero emissions vehicles, is seeking a Material Support Operator to join their team based in Galgorm.

The Material Support Operator will be responsible for the clearing of shortages for the production assembly line in a timely manner. Assisting with material issues and resolving any material discrepancies.

Responsibilities
- Ensuring daily move of material supply to production is adhered to.
- Liaising with Production and scheduling team.
- Attending daily and weekly meetings.
- Auditing of material for the production build.
- Ensuring all parts handled, supplied, assembled and fitted is in accordance with the customer specification and Wright bus quality standards. - Responsible for undertaking any other duties associated with the post.
- Responsible for all aspects of the storage & assembly function within Logistics
- To ensure that work carried out is to Wright bus agreed quality standard and ensure that all such
quality sign offs, and procedures are complied with.
- Ensuring Warehouse procedures and processes are adhered to.
- Accurate kitting and issuing of parts to material storage location and shop floor with a high level of
presentation.
- Transportation of material to the lines in a safe manner to ensure arrival on time and parts are not
damaged.
- To participate actively in stock takes & continuous improvement teams.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Must have previous experience of Materials handling & control in a fast-paced Warehouse Environment
- Experience of Goods Inwards, Cycle Counting, Kitting and WO issuing, or a busy assembly line.
- Qualified to GCSE level Maths and English Grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Experience in problem solving and resolving queries in a timely manner.
- Experience in using Sage or similar ERP system
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Problem solving, discrepancies and material shortages
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Able and willing to work additional hours when required
