Job description
To oversee the ordering, stock management and supply of medicines for CRHFT patients in the Outpatient Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT) service. Liaise with OPAT team and pharmacy procurement to manage supply of medicines and mitigate potential procurement problems or delays. To participate in OPAT multidisciplinary team meetings (MDTs). To assist the Senior Pharmacist - Antimicrobials with management of Microguide and guideline updates. To assist the Senior Pharmacist - Antimicrobials with antimicrobial audit data collection, analysis and reporting e.g. antimicrobial CQuins, ward based quarterly antibiotic audit. To assist the Senior Pharmacist - Antimicrobials with data gathering for Freedom of Information (FOI) requests. To assist the Senior Pharmacist - Antimicrobials with antimicrobial stewardship promotion, education and training e.g. World Antimicrobial Awareness Week To assist the Senior Pharmacist - Antimicrobials with preparation of the agenda and minute taking for D&TC antimicrobial subgroup. To liaise with the EPMA technicians to create and update antimicrobial protocols or profiles on the EPMA/EPR system. To be the Pharmacy Department Infection Control champion and link for queries including C diff and MRSA investigation under the supervision of Senior Pharmacist - Antimicrobials Submit incident reports via DATIX
