Purchasing Administrator
Loughborough
£22,000 - £24,000 DOE
An exciting career opportunity awaits you at a well-established, local, family-run business. As our clients' company continues to expand, we are actively seeking a driven and enthusiastic Purchasing Administrator to become an integral part of their team.
Description of the role:
- Generating Purchase Orders and keeping track of expected availability dates.
- Taking ownership of expediting orders with overseas suppliers and promptly informing the team of any delays.
- Coordinating with freight forwarders to plan the cost-effective and timely transportation of goods.
- Collaborating with the goods-in team to ensure deliveries are scheduled in compliance with company guidelines.
- Timely processing of all invoices and reporting any discrepancies to the Purchasing Manager.
- Updating the Sales team on stock availability and addressing any related inquiries.
- Interacting with suppliers to collect product data for creating new products before seasonal launches.
About you:
- Experience within an administrative role.
- Have experience of communicating with suppliers.
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work as part of a team
- Great attention to detail
