Job description

Salary: £24,500 per annum, pro rata

Location: Edinburgh & Lothian

Contract/Hours: Permanent / Part Time - 21 hours per week

Closing date: Wednesday 13 th March 2024

A bit about the role

We're excited to offer a unique opportunity for experienced Residential Worker to join our dedicated Outreach Team in Edinburgh and the Lothians. As an organisation committed to enhancing the lives of children and young people with learning disabilities, we believe in making a positive impact within our community.

Our aim is to provide an enjoyable and fun time while ensuring the children and young people we work with get to do activities they love and have the opportunity to try new activities, outings and experiences.

Your role will include getting to know our children and young people. the planning and delivery of our outreach sessions, identifying outcomes for the young people and supporting them to work towards these.

Most of our work happens beyond traditional office hours, and you'll need to be available during evenings and weekends.

As an Outreach Support Worker, you'll play a pivotal role in empowering children and young people to explore their world, build connections, and create lasting memories.
