Job description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented and engaging Senior Quantity Suveyor . Danny Sullivan Group is the leading supplier of skilled, professional labour in the UK, and has been serving the civil engineering, rail, transportation, and construction industries since 1986.
Duties and Responsibilities detailed below: - Previous experience in Industrial/Logistics projects is advantageous.
- A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying
- Demonstrated ambition, drive, self-motivation, and proactivity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient negotiation skills.
- Capacity to work independently and take initiative.
- Possession of a valid driver's license is beneficial due to the site-based nature of the role.
- Commitment to adhering to the Company's quality standards and performance criteria.
- Cooperation with health and safety protocols, including following provided training, and taking reasonable care of personal and others' safety.
- Ensuring department operations align with the Company's Health & Safety policy, including conducting risk assessments and implementing measures to mitigate risks.
- Providing direction, regular feedback, and development opportunities to support team members in enhancing their performance.
- Willingness to undertake any additional duties consistent with the role of Quantity Surveyor as required.
Desirable - Good level of experience in dispute resolution and contract administration.
- Ability to remain positive and focused at all times.
- Working towards professional membership of MCIOB or RICS.
- Appropriate CSCS card.
- Good level of education to include 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, A Levels.
