Job description

Brief Overview This is a brand new role and would suit a Marketing Comms Executive who has a clear understanding of the copywriting process, proven experience of managing social media channels for domestic audiences and experience of collaborating with third party suppliers. The Role: Working with the Head of Marketing to develop their new domestic marketing activity in line with the Group strategic plan, you will be creating innovative and impactful content which optimises customer engagement, including blogs, online resources, web landing pages and other customer comms.  You’ll be keeping an eye on competitor activity and any issues which affect the industry as well as identifying opportunities for development. You’ll be preparing content for sales and marketing collateral, working with external agencies on the ongoing development of relevant websites within the Group as a whole. In addition you’ll be developing, managing and delivering a proactive and responsive social media calendar for your defined areas of the Group, as well as supporting and helping to deliver the employee engagement strategy and contribute to Group-wide business development plans as needed. From time to time you will visit sites to gain an understanding of the business needs enabling you to communicate with your target audience. What we’re looking for: We’re looking for someone who has oodles of common sense and has gained marketing communications experience either inhouse or with a marketing communications agency. You will be a natural communicator and appreciate the tone of voice required for a variety of stakeholders. You will thrive in working in a dynamic environment, and have excellent time management and organisational skills As part of the role will involve visiting sites it’s imperative that you have a driving licence.  What’s on Offer?Salary of £30-35000 , with some wiggle room , flexible and hybrid working, 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, Workplace/Group personal pension plan, retail discount scheme, paid professional membership Free annual health check, £100 annual Personal Development Fund allowance.
