About the Role
Southend Medical Centre has an exciting new opportunity, we are looking to recruit a qualified and experienced junior nurse to support our practice nurse on a part time basis for 25.5 hours per week, 0900-1330 & 1430-1830, Monday, Thursday & Friday for the duration of a fixed term contract until 31.05.2025 due to maternity leave.
You will work under the guidance of our registered practice nurse, support the organisation and facilitate clinical care in a holistic and proactive manner to patients registered at the practice while maintaining a high professional standard of nursing care in adherence to all practice protocols/policies, as well as providing nursing assistance to the GPs and other members of the primary healthcare team.
This role needs to be flexible in line with the present atmosphere for change within the health service, and it is essential that the you work within your own level of competency and expand this role in accordance with practice requirements and own scope of practice.
