Job description
Our client is a leading privately owned developer covering the south of England. The company have over the past decade grown to a business with revenues approaching 300m and ambitious growth plans for the future. As part of the planned expansion and growth the company are seeking a Group Procurement Director to shape and implement the group strategy for procurement of all materials facilities and corporate infrastructure.
The company have exceptional buying power as a result of its strong trading position and cash management the group are a key client to many of the UK and European supply chain.
We are seeking a Procurement and supply chain professional who with experience in developing corporate supply chain and procurement strategy within the House Building and construction sector. You will have extensive experience in centralising procurement activities and leading buying teams and maximising the group buying gains.
Experience with a major Developer / Housebuilder or Construction company. Chartered or Fellowship status of the Institute of Supply Chain Management
