The role
As a Head of Engineering, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll help drive continued growth of the business within the Clean Energy space to help them realise their aspirations to achieve Net Zero by 2040.
Day to day, you’ll support the business winning process through input into and review of tender requirements, including estimates and governance.
• Line manage planning, estimating and technical bid resources during the pre-delivery phase
• Develops and owns the engineering scope and schedule required to meet customer requirements, engaging across the company.
• Ensure that the technical integrity of solutions can be delivered safely to time, cost, and quality and complies with engineering arrangements.
• Ensure that the specific project/programme is reviewed, audited, and assured in line with the relevant assurance procedures.
• Ensure all engineering resource within the project/programme are demonstrably SQEP to meet project requirements.
This is a full-time role with 37 hours per week. The successful candidate can work from any Cavendish Nuclear site with hybrid working arrangements.
