In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive our online sales, improve our customer experience, and increase the overall revenue which is generated through our digital channels. In this role, you will be based within our Brighton HQ, working closely alongside our wider marketing, product, merchandising and operations team to ensure seamless functioning of our e-commerce platform to achieve business objectives.
As the Head of E-Commerce at KILLSTAR, your primary responsibility is to drive brand elevation and rapid growth identify areas of opportunity, expand our customer reach, drive customer engagement, and monitor the competitive landscape in which we operate. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a dynamic team in creating and executing comprehensive e-commerce marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness resonating with our target audience, whilst attracting new customer and expanding our reach as a brand. What You’ll Do:
- Work with the Senior Management Team to develop e-commerce objectives and opportunities identifying areas for growth.
- Partner with our buying, product, and merchandising teams to deliver an effective merchandising strategy, including product selection, pricing, and promotional strategies to maximise sales and profit margins.
- Have ownership over the theme of the KILLSTAR Website, ensuring to stay on top of market trends and enhance our customer experience.
- Manage the acquisition strategies to attract quality traffic and exposure for our website, maintaining the marketing budgets to ensure efficient ROA’s.
- Innovate new ideas and opportunities to enhance our UX and Optimisation.
- Manage all promotional activity on the website from go live to exit, e.g. supporting the company B2B Wholesale Web Model.
- Responsible for a successful retention program to keep loyal customers engaged and encourage repeat transactions.
- Streamline the timelines for uploads/updates, and continuously introduce ways for processes within the department to be lean, efficient and concise.
- Manage the KILLSTAR App UX and aim for continuous improvement, exploring new ideas and functionality opportunities whilst always considering the ROI of the platform.
- Provide quarterly reports and analytics on the digital business performance to the senior management team with improvement plans where necessary.
- Manage the organisation's digital trading plan, producing weekly and monthly forecasts for all e-commerce measurables such as ROAs and AOV.
- Continuously review product page and sales performance, reviewing content and promotions plans as required to drive sales and engagement, and identifying the best way to present features and benefits to end users.
- Work closely with our Customer Experience Team to ensure an optimum experience for our customers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with our marketing team to plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, paid advertising, and social media initiatives (social, paid, organic, and acquisition).
- Utilise analytic programs to track and interpret sales data, customer behaviour, buying trends and key performance indicators (KPIs), using this data to make informed business decisions and adjust strategies as required.
- Produce trading and e-commerce site reports with clear recommendations for action.

Your Experience Includes:
- At least 5 years of experience working as an E-Commerce Manager / Head of E-Commerce position within a trading environment, ideally within the fashion industry.
- Experience with using Shopify and common third-party applications.
- Working knowledge of organic, CRM or Paid Media.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of Google Analytics, with the ability to simplify information and make it actionable.
- Extensive knowledge of digital sales and digital procurement model including SEO, PPC and Conversation.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional structure, working with our Product, Merchandising and Content Team to achieve business results and a collaborative strategy.
- An interest and passion in the e-commerce sector, identifying new trends and areas of opportunity that can be shared with the wider marketing team.
Bonus If You:
- Have experience working with Shopify.
- Have experience working across different regions [e.g. EU, UK, US, APAC], developing strategies to optimise growth in all locations.
- Have experience of working with Warehouse Management Systems and managing the transition and implementation of new integrations.
Work Location and Hours:
This role will be based at our Brighton HQ, United Kingdom. This role will be performed on a hybrid working arrangement, consisting of a minimum of 3 Days per week in the office, and 2 Days working from home.
This role is a full-time position of 37.5 hours, with hours worked between 08:00am – 06:00pm, Monday through to Friday.
