Service Care Solutions are working with
Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust to recruit a
Band 6 Physiotherapist to support an
Acute Inpatient Mental Health Service in the
Warwick area. The successful candidate will work as part of the
Mental Health Service and provide support to
Adults, Older adults and Dementia Patients with a range of
Mental Health conditions. The contract duration is for a minimum of
6 months with the likelihood of extension. This is a
full-time placement with 37.5 hours available. Part-time applications will also be considered.
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Location: Warwick
Pay: £25.00 p/h LTD
Bonus: £250 Sign-Up Bonus
Job Purpose - Band 6 Physiotherapist The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, carrying a defined clinical caseload for individuals. The successful candidate will provide Physiotherapy for Adults with various mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities - Assessment and Treatment:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Administer physiotherapy interventions for patients with acute mental health conditions.
- Collaborative Care:
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team for holistic patient care.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and families.
- Documentation and Education:
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with standards.
- Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers on exercises and self-management.
- Professional Development:
- Stay updated on physiotherapy and mental health advancements.
- Engage in continuous professional development for skill enhancement.
- Quality Improvement:
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and audits.
- Identify areas for improvement and participate in service development.
- Adherence to Policies:
- Follow professional and organizational policies and ethical standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for a safe practice environment.
Requirements - Physiotherapy qualification
- HCPC Registration
- Experience working in a mental health setting
