About the Role

Walton Medical Centre is looking for an organised and approachable individual to join our friendly but busy team, managing the surgery day to day, and ensuring we provide the best levels of patient care in the best possible way.

Walton is a warm and friendly seaside town surgery comprising of 2 partners, GPs, ANPs, paramedic, social prescriber, PCN GP care advisor, to name but a few. The practice is committed to the principles of the Improving Working Lives (IWL) Standards to provide a positive, employment friendly approach to the delivery of their healthcare service.

About the Candidate

We are looking for someone confident, flexible and motivated with high levels of integrity and loyalty, someone that can work under pressure and process information accurately and effectively. You will need to be able to work on your own initiative and be committed to supporting a team. 

If you have some experience managing a small team already, and are looking to expand your experience into managing a more diverse workload then this is the role for you - with excellent support from our executive team at head office, and from the partners at the practice, you will be encouraged and supported to become a great manager in primary care, developing yourself and your team to achieve the partnership and branch performance objectives.   

Experience in a primary care setting is essential. Experience of working in a customer service role and with SystmOne will be advantageous.  Some flexibility is required as you will sometimes need to work additional/alternative hours to cover for colleagues.

About Us

The Colte Partnership consists of 9 GP Branches across Colchester and Tendring caring for approx. 95,000 patients.

 

We also work as three collaborative Primary Care Networks (PCNs) which span across Colchester and Tendring:

There is a wide socio-economic and demographic served within this area which will provide an interesting and varied case mix. You will be joining an enthusiastic team of clinicians and administrators. You will be well supported with on-going professional development (training support, CPD and peer support). The role will contribute to the improving quality of care of our patients across the network of practices.
