Quantity Surveyor – Near Exeter
An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established regional contractor on a permanent basis. Based out of the area, this role will cover a wide range of projects including commercial refurbishments, internals ad externals ranging from £10k up to £2m. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will provide crucial commercial support to the project team and ensure compliance with contractual requirements. Responsibilities:
- Provide commercial oversight and support in Contracts Management
- Provide monthly CVRs and financial reports
- Preparation of tender enquires for subcontract works packages and analysis of tender returns
- Preparation of Valuations/Application for payment with full supporting documentation in accordance with the contract
- Administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts from the preparation of detailed requisitions, monitoring and authorisation of subcontract payments through to agreement of final accounts.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified desirable
- Relevant driving licence
- Strong written, oral communication skills and negotiation
- Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office and Project
