About The Role
At OCS, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces.
You will be working Monday to Friday, on a temporary part-time basis, 07:30 to 14:00, 30 hours per week.
You'll also:
- Make sure that areas are always cleaned to the highest standards.
- Always work safely.
- Make sure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly.
- You will be carrying out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting low-high, emptying bins, glass partitions and cleaning washrooms, bathrooms, shower rooms, basins.
- To develop a good knowledge of the unit you are working in to enable efficient working practices.
- Take responsibility for reviewing the safe system of work prior to commencement of the work activity.
- You will be required to work closely with the Group Health and Safety team who are available to provide safety advice and support.
- Furthermore, you will be required to ensure that safety initiatives are implemented within your areas of control.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- To be reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work
- Cleaning experience within a healthcare environment desired but not essential as full training will be provided
- The ability to be able to communicate effectively in English
- High standards of personal hygiene are expected and required at all times
- Willingness to bring concerns to corporate attention via prescribed channel
