Are you a fluent Welsh speaker passionate about education? We have an exciting opportunity for a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to join our team in Newport!

Becoming a Teaching Assistant is a great stepping stone to further careers within the education system. It will provide you with the skills to utilise the Welsh language and further your career.

We have built strong relationships with a number of Welsh medium schools in Newport, who are each seeking a proactive, friendly Teaching Assistant to join their school community.

Key responsibilities:

* Provide tailored support to students in both Welsh and English.
* Assist in creating an inclusive environment and promoting the use of the Welsh language
* Collaborate with teachers to implement effective teaching strategies
* Support pupils in their academic and personal development
* Foster positive communication with all school staff, pupils and parents & guardians

Qualifications and Requirements

* Fluent in spoken and written Welsh
* Previous experience in an educational setting is advantageous
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 1/2/3) is desirable
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* An enhanced DBS check & registration with the EWC
