Job description
Our client is a wealth management and audit and assurance services company seeking to recruit a Manager, Private Client Services.
Overall purpose of the role:
Manage a team providing comprehensive Private Client Services for their international client base and undertaking business development / marketing opportunities as required.
Key responsibilities will include;
• Ensure the team administers their client portfolios to a high standard in accordance with the Office Procedures Manual and that all work is undertaken / completed in a timely manner;
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the team, intermediaries, clients and client advisors;
• Identify any training needs for the team and in the absence of a Senior Administrator and / or Assistant Manager, provide day to day training to Administrators and Assistant Administrators to build up their confidence and knowledge of Trust and Corporate services;
The successful candidate will be:
• ICSA or STEP qualified (or other relevant / recognized qualification)
• Evidence of sufficient Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
• People management skills and at least 10 years’ experience in the fiduciary sector
• Previous management experience
• High level understanding and experience of compliance, risk and the mitigation thereof
• Understanding of CRS/FATCA and experience with the classification thereof
• High level understanding of Guernsey Company and Trust Laws
• Good awareness of UK taxation for individuals and its impact on offshore structures
• High level awareness of current Anti-Money Laundering (AML) legislation and related codes of practice
• Transactional / restructuring experience
• Knowledge of Microgen 5Series and Laserfiche (not essential)
