Job description
We are WR Fundraising Recruitment and we are delighted to be working with a national charity which works to improve the lives of young people. This inspirational charity is now looking for an Events Fundraising Manager to manage an existing portfolio of high value events, as well as identifying new opportunities.
This pivotal role offers an exciting chance to become the driving force behind the Trust's impressive portfolio of events and fundraising initiatives. Working closely with the Charity Director, the Events Fundraising Manager will be responsible for every aspect of these events, from meticulous planning and budget management to crafting captivating marketing materials and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Your leadership skills will be vital in fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and beneficiaries.
We’re particularly keen to hear from you if you’ve got a background in events management within the charity sector, but if you’re experienced in Major Donor or Corporate engagement this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in event management.
Events Fundraising Manager
Full Time, Permanent
West Midlands, with Hybrid Working
Salary – Circa £37,000
Duties will include:
• Delivering and growing a portfolio of high-profile events
• Managing event budgets in partnership with the Finance Manager
• Crafting compelling materials like guest packs, design briefs, and marketing materials to amplify event engagement
• Developing and nurturing valuable relationships with event attendees and suppliers
• Assisting in developing and managing a supporter database
The ideal candidate will:
• Have experience of working within a fundraising environment
• Be an inspiring communicator, able to build strong relationships
• Have experience of working within budgets and achieving ROI targets
• Be skilled in the use of CRM systems and database management
• Hold a full UK Driving licence, with access to their own vehicle
