Why Syneos Health
The Associate Director of Organization Development is a member of the Organization Effectiveness & Change ( OEC ) team within the Enterprise Transformation Office and serves as an internal OD expert . This role consult s on and/or lead s key strategic initiatives in partnership with business executives , Learning & Development, and HR Business Partners in the areas of organization analysis, organization design and team effectiveness .
Serves as a subject matter expert in organizational development , using industry principles and best practices.
Synthesizes results into briefings and reports with recommendations for review by HR and Business Unit leadership . Breaks down recommendations into specific projects with defined objectives.
Provides status reporting regarding defined milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues.
Participates and/or drives feasibility studies, vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree required.Advanced degree preferred
8-10 years’ experience in progressive OD roles
Expert knowledge of organizational and cultural awareness
Expert ability to extract insights from data with demonstrated analytical mind set
Expert ability to communicate complex concepts clearly in both verbal and written form across all levels of the organization
Expert ability to use facts, expertise and persuasive techniques to influence others, particularly senior leaders
Expert ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple projects
Expert ability to adapt style and use persuasion in delivering messages. Develops recommendations to sell ideas or services. Frequently advises others on complex matters.
Expert ability to adapt style and collaborate effectively to get things done in a dynamic matrix environment
Strong business acumen
Proven track record in managing organizational development projects, ideally in a global environment, with both local and geographically dispersed teams
