Job description

Mature female carer with excellent English required. Caring for a female mid-80s with dementia.
Dementia experience is essential.
Independently mobile with frame.

• Mild anxiety and moderate confusion at times. No behaviour issues but understanding anxiety-driven behaviour and dementia is vital.
• Not incontinent but wears protective pants.
• No night calls review of rates when this applies and willing to hire night staff.
• Two hours break every day. Covered by live out carer and family.
• Large comfortable bedroom. Private bathroom and shower. Lounge. All on top floor and private.

Parking. Central location in Exeter

Rota flexible: week on week off or ten days on ten days off or two weeks on two off. Long term commitment is preferred so we will not consider people wishing to leave to travel etc after three months. This is to alleviate stress in the client who wishes for consistency and familiarity with her staff. All staff have been here for over two years.

Light housework and cooking.
