Are you passionate about making a positive impact in your community? Do you have the skills to empower individuals through education and training? Service Care Solutions are seeking an experienced and dedicated Skills for Life Tutor on behalf of Staffordshire County Council.

Pay : £19.00 per hour

Hours : Part Time, Mon-Thurs, 18.50 hours a week

Location : Staffordshire

As a Skills for Life Tutor specialising in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), you will be at the forefront of delivering vibrant and engaging learning experiences to learners in community venues across Staffordshire.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering tailored learning programs to meet individual and group needs.
• Developing learning materials and resources to ensure quality and effectiveness.
• Assessing learner goals and needs to enhance teaching practices.
• Supporting learners into further education, volunteering, or employment opportunities.
• Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.

To excel in this role, you will need:

• A Level 4 qualification in ESOL and a recognized teaching qualification (Award in Education, Cert Ed, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Experience in adult teaching methodologies and working with diverse learner backgrounds
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve desired outcomes.
• UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle
• Flexibility and willingness to travel across the Staffordshire to deliver learning programs.
