What you'll get to work on:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive automation strategy for financial processes, leveraging tools such as robotic process automation (RPA) and AI.
- Identify opportunities to streamline manual tasks, reduce errors, and enhance overall process efficiency.
- Spearhead digitalization projects within the finance department to improve data management, reporting, and analytics capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cutting-edge technologies for financial data integration and visualization.
- Oversee the integration of financial systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow between different platforms.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and maintain finance-related software solutions.
- Implement robust security measures to safeguard financial data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and conduct regular risk assessments related to automation and digitalization initiatives.
- Provide training and support to finance teams on new technologies and automation tools fostering a culture of continuous learning to keep the finance team abreast of industry best practices.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of automation and digitalization efforts and regularly assess and report on the performance of implemented solutions, making recommendations for improvements.

Who are we looking for:

Qualifications

- Role requires fully qualified accountant with a UK recognised body
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

Practical Experience

- Proven experience in finance process automation, digital transformation, and system integration.
- An understanding of financial systems, ERP solutions, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to finance and data privacy.
- Strategic thinker with a forward-looking approach to technology adoption.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving technological landscape with a results-driven mindset and focus on continuous improvement.
