We are delighted to be recruiting a Steelwork Estimator to a join a well-established, successful and robust steelwork fabrication company based nr Wardington, Oxfordshire. Estimator duties include:
•Receiving enquires and reviewing drawings and specs.
•Work on projects which include new and refurb work ranging from feature stairs, balustrades, juliet balconies etc through to mezzanine floors and small steel structures.
•Carrying out material take offs and assigning times/costs for the full scope of work.
•Liaise internally and externally if needed to ensure accurate pricing on elements such as glass and timber.
Estimator requirements:
•Proven experience working as an Estimator is essential.
•Experience working on architectural metal and/or structural steel would be highly advantageous however we will consider applications from those working in similar sectors.
•Have excellent attention to detail and good organisational skills.
•Live in/within a commutable distance of Wardington – this is an office based role.
