Trainee Estimator
Full Time (35 hours), Permanent, Doncaster c£23k - £25k DOE A well-established Doncaster based manufacturer, the UK's largest in their field, are keen to recruit a Trainee Estimator to strengthen the technical department. Responsibilities include. • Complete sales quotations for new and existing clients received by email and phone. • Receive and interpret customers' requirements from CAD drawings and sketches (training provided)• Create accurate quotations based on raw material build up and calculations (training provided)• Communicate with customers providing customer service on delivery dates and relevant shipping information. • Researching, sourcing, negotiating, and obtaining quotes from suppliers • Assist in the processing of sales/works orders into Production. • Some Marketing and Sales duties by email and phone. • Actively seeking out new sales opportunities whilst also working to improve conversion rates on enquiries to orders. Trainee Estimator requirements are strong attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills. Excellent telephone manner and be able to build relationships with B2B clients and intermediate IT knowledge of Word and Excel. If candidates have previous experience of CAD drawings or exposure to engineering industries that would be helpful but is not essential to the role as full training will be given. You will be joining a well-established business with plenty of scope for progression, longevity, and stability. A manufacture of a bespoke product whose order book is full, this is a professional working environment.
