You will lead on the development of Nottingham Forest’s brand identity, ensuring the Club’s approach to commercialising its brand is cutting edge and helps to maximise sales revenues and exposure of the Nottingham Forest brand in a positive way.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive cross-channel marketing strategies aligned with the Club's overall goals and objectives.
- Build a data-focussed approach across all channels and activities to aid decision making and create actionable insights.
- Develop continuous opportunities for industry and supporter research to identify the latest trends and threats, ensuring a proactive and innovative approach in our marketing activity.
- Collaborate with Club departments (such as Retail, Hospitality, Events, Ticketing and Partnerships teams) to build specific revenue driving commercial campaigns.
- Strategic ownership for the development of match day and non-match day events to develop our brand, commercial revenue opportunities and an evolving connection with our supporter base
Team Development
- Lead and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance on skill enhancement, career growth, and goal attainment.
- Build a results-driven team capable of executing innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Commercial Growth
- Drive concepts that continually create new supporter experiences to accelerate our brand growth opportunities
- Analyse commercial trends and purchase behaviour to identify new opportunities and areas for expansion.
- Feed market insight into Club departments and provide advice and guidance for commercial robust, creative, and innovative initiatives and branding concepts.
Digital Marketing
- Oversee the development and execution of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, Paid Media Campaigns, email marketing; accountability for our website and email channels
- Utilize data analytics and metrics to measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns and optimize performance.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the company at the forefront of digital marketing.
Skills, Experience and Knowledge:
- Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in a senior marketing role, with a focus on strategy development, team leadership, commercial growth, and digital marketing.
- Experience of working in a football club environment or for a sports rights holder is desirable
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing platforms, tools, and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
