Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced person to join a vibrant Scottish Charity working to promoterelationships from generation to generation. This post is being funded by a Scottish Government Grant until 31stMarch 2025.

The ideal candidate must possess a comprehensive understanding of Qualtrics and Excel, along with proficiency inutilizing both qualitative and quantitative evaluation measures in applied social research and practicalsettings. It would be beneficial if the candidate has experience in developing research opportunities,conducting literature reviews, and performing statistical analyses using validated assessment tools to gaugemental health and well-being.

The successful candidate will be responsible for improving Mellow's evidence base by utilizing routine data,creating new research opportunities, and collaborating with existing and new academic partners. They willdisseminate research findings through academic publications, impact reports, and infographics.

We need someone who's passionate about using evaluation to make a global difference in parenting, child outcomesand mental health. You should know Qualtrics and Excel, have experience using validated assessments, and theability to analyse data.

The post holder will be responsible for the Mellow Parenting Evaluation Framework, supporting our trainedpractitioners with their group evaluations and with their accreditation journey by providing pre and postevaluation links and reports. You will be working collaboratively with our Research Lead and liaisingclosely

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen within Children 1st, Scotland’s national children’s charity, for aMarketing Manager to join an expanded communications and marketing team.

The successful candidate will implement Children 1st’s marketing strategy to position the charity as a leading voicein child protection and trauma recovery in Scotland. You will oversee marketing campaigns with a focus on brandmanagement, website development and marketing to cover the full marketing mix across multiple media channels.Managing and supporting the marketing team, you will work closely with other managers to achieve the strategicobjectives of the charity.

If you are an experienced marketing professional with a proven track record and at least two years’ experience in asimilar role, we want to hear from you.

The post will be a hybrid blend of office based (in Edinburgh) and home-based work. At least 40% of the working weekwill be based at our office in Whitehouse Lane, Edinburgh.

Barnardo's Scotland Fostering Edinburgh have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Supervising Social workerto join our busy team on a Part Time (18.5 hours) permanent basis.

Location: The successful candidate will work on a hybrid basis with their office base in Edinburgh, however somemeetings and training occur Scotland Wide.

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will work within a team of supervising social workers, children's workers,therapists, education liaison worker, managers, and admin staff responsible for the recruitment and support offoster carers who provide care to looked after children and young people who are referred to the service fromthe Local Authority.

The Edinburgh team is the only Scottish Service operatingthe Mockingbird model, supported by the fostering network.
