Information on the role:

-Enhancing the educational journey, fostering development, and nurturing social skills for students with lower academic abilities in the SEN category.
-9 pupils per classroom (Approx).
-At least 3 TA's depending on additional individual support needs i.e. medical.
-On going positions depending on performance.
-Elements of personal care.
-Outstanding school with NAS advanced practitioner status.

Nature of the students:

- Low ability SEN students who have a diagnosis of ASD/SLD and other associated learning difficulties.

Curriculum information:

-Curriculums are designed in house and based on Equals pre-formal or engagement (below 18 months cognition) and semi formal (pre-key stage standards 1 to 3/4 or P5 to P8 and under 5 years cognition.

Training and support given:

-Comprehensive support for induction through coaching and mentoring including team teaching.
-Multi-agency professional training using specialists such as our privately commissioning speech and language, and occupation therapists and educational psychologist.

Must have:

-A clean DBS is essential.
-SEN Experience is essential.
